South Koreans Now a Dark Horse

After their convincing win over the Ivory Coast last week, South Korea is proving itself as a dark horse to make a run in the World Cup this June. It's going to take a huge effort to even get out of their group -- which includes Argentina, Nigeria and Greece. But if they play like they did against the Ivory Coast, they certainly have a shot.

I think as far as South Korea are concerned, the World Cup can be considered a success if they get out of their group. It will be difficult, but they can definitely do it, and I think second place in the group is a realistic aim, probably behind Argentina, who finally seem to have got their act together in their match against Germany.

I've written about it a fair amount on my blog, the Korean Football Blog, and will continue to do so in as much depth as I can.

Hey Seamus. Thanks for the link to your blog. I post Korean football stories here and there. Would you mind if I linked your blog on my blog roll??? You have a lot of great stories there. I'd love to help send people your way.

Hello again, and please link away! I haven't added a blogroll for that blog just yet, cos I think I need to trawl the web for a few good football-related blogs, but you will definitely be first on there!

Keep up the good work, by the way, and I don't just mean the football stuff, your blog seems to get bigger and better all the time - one of my daily must-reads!
